The next free track in our #SPK series comes direct from Czech producer, Fred Hassel. I’ve been analysing and monitoring this guy’s progress over the past year after he’d been suggested to me by a friend. From first listen I could sense the potential behind his music, with his beats generally encapsulating a real deep and gritty atmosphere. ‘Letronne’ is certainly no different.
“Starting with a mysterious back drop, the intro instantly assembles through some minor chimes and clicks. The combination of the momentous bass kicks and the swooping synth steadily build as the drop releases an eyes-down, earthy vibe. Although there’s not an enormous amount of switch up throughout the piece, there’s no need for there to be. This track transmits exactly what it’s supposed to – being the perfect music for a dark, dingy, bass curdled room.”
We’d like to say a big thank you to the artist for getting involved and prompt you to check out the rest of his music with the links below.
