Having brought the likes of Disclosure, Mushy, Kry Wolf, Squarehead and many others to Bristol for their raucous Wednesday night events since their launch in early 2012, Halfnaked are set to smash it once again. Their first weekend party sees them take over the incredible Old Coroner’s Court in Stokes Croft, previously mentioned on the blog as hosting the unbelievable Tokyo Dub after party.
Bringing the party vibes is none other than Route 94, with his inimitable house stylings. Since his enigmatic launch onto the scene, he has inundated us with a barrage of stellar music. Indicative of his dubstep background, however, most of this music has remained unreleased other than his debut EP ‘Fly 4 Life’ which surfaced over the summer. Expect a massive mix of the biggest house music going alongside a selection of less known tracks and obviously plenty of killer dubs from the man himself.
On top of this, Hyercolour affiliate Shenoda will be bringing the heat with a set that straddles genres. This man knows how to read a floor and will provide a refreshing and informed selection of house, techno and garage.
With the usual merrymaking from the Halfnaked residents, Funktion One providing the noise and full décor and lighting this one is set to be large. Final release tickets are on sale now so be sure to get involved.
